What we make,
and what we buy.

Being straight about this is the point. Any supplier can say "full in-house" — here is the actual line between what our own people do and what arrives at our door.

01Ours, in this building

Pattern making and grading, CAD marker nesting, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, in-line and end-line QC, steaming, metal detection, folding, bagging, tagging and carton packing. Your order is not passed to a subcontracted workshop after you sign off the sample.

02Sourced to your spec

Fabric, elastic, zips, drawcords, woven labels, hang-tags and packaging are bought in against the spec on your tech pack. You approve the lab dip and the trim card before the bulk lot is committed — nothing is substituted quietly.

03Held in stock

Core nylon-spandex and brushed poly bases sit in the material warehouse, which is why a repeat order in a running fabric moves faster than a first development. Ask us which of your fabrics we already hold.

04You can supply it yourself

CMT is accepted. Ship us your own fabric and trims and we cut, make and trim to your spec — useful if you have a mill relationship you want to keep or a fabric you have already certified.

Testing is not one gate at the end. It runs at three levels — fabric roll, finished garment, whole facility — and there are five separate stops between the roll and the export carton.

01Material testing

Composition & GSM verified against the approved fabric card. Elongation, recovery and bursting strength. Colour fastness to washing, rubbing, perspiration and light. Shrinkage after wash.

02Safety & compliance

Azo dye and formaldehyde screening on dyed lots. pH and odour testing on skin-contact fabric. Metal detection on 100% of garments. REACH, CPSIA, OEKO-TEX® style protocols on request.

03Factory assessment

TÜV Rheinland on-site supplier assessment. SGS assessment of process and quality systems. Alibaba on-site + video verification. Buyer and third-party audits welcome.

What sourcing buyers verify before they place a first order.

Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are the factory. Xiamen Eliian Industrial & Trading Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer with its own production floor in Tong'an District, Xiamen, established in 1999 — not a trading agent or sourcing office. TÜV Rheinland and SGS have assessed the site, and Alibaba has verified it in person and on video.
What is your monthly production capacity?
20,000 pieces a month across all styles, from a 3,000 m² floor. A single-style run can be prioritised above that figure when a delivery date requires it.
Which production steps are in-house?
CAD pattern making, automatic cutting, laser cutting, sublimation and digital printing, computerised embroidery, sewing on a hanger-conveyor line, finishing, QC and packing are all in one building. Fewer handoffs means fewer delays and one party accountable.
Can I see the factory before ordering?
Yes. Visit us in Tong'an District, Xiamen, or book a live video walk-through of the floor. Real production video of each department is published on this site rather than stock footage.
Which certifications and test reports can you provide?
We hold SGS test reports and CMA / CNAS accredited reports on file, and have been assessed on site by TÜV Rheinland. For specific markets we arrange OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, REACH, CPSIA and California Proposition 65 testing on request, and can supply GRS-certified recycled fabric options.
Do you comply with US CPSIA and California Proposition 65?
Yes. For orders shipping to the United States we arrange CPSIA testing including lead content, phthalates and tracking-label requirements, and Proposition 65 screening where the buyer requires it. Test reports are issued in the buyer's name by an accredited third-party laboratory.
Do you comply with EU REACH and offer OEKO-TEX fabric?
Yes. For orders shipping into the EU and UK we arrange REACH SVHC screening and can produce in OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified fabric. Recycled polyester with GRS traceability is available for sustainability-led collections.
What inspection standard do you use?
Final inspection is carried out at AQL 2.5 major / 4.0 minor with a photo report sent before shipment, on top of in-line checks at cutting, sewing and finishing. Stricter retail standards such as AQL 1.5 or 100% audited are quoted as a separate line item so the cost stays transparent.
Can I see the full test reports before I order?
Yes. Ask and we email the complete SGS, CMA/CNAS and supplier-assessment PDFs. We can also run a fresh test on your specific fabric and colourway during sampling.
Do you allow third-party inspection before shipment?
Always. Buyers regularly book SGS, BV, Intertek or their own agent at our Xiamen facility. We schedule the booking and cover any re-work at our cost if the lot fails.
Do you send an inspection report before the goods ship?
Yes. A photo inspection report covering measurements, print placement, packing and carton marking goes out before release. Nothing ships without your written confirmation.
How do you make sure the bulk matches the sample?
Nothing goes into bulk until you have approved a pre-production sample and the lab dips for every colour. Colour is matched to Pantone TCX, and fabric is tested for weight, stretch, opacity and shrinkage on arrival, before it is cut.
What happens if there is a quality problem?
Send photographs and the affected quantity. Confirmed defects are remade or credited. Orders placed through Alibaba Trade Assurance are additionally covered by escrow, so payment is released only once you confirm quality and delivery.
