Home / OEM & ODM

Your brand, our floor

Bring a tech pack and we build it exactly. Bring a photo and we develop it for you. Either way, every step happens inside one building in Xiamen.

01 — Two ways in

OEM or ODM.
You choose.

Wholesalers usually start with ODM off our block library. Established brands arrive with a tech pack.

OEMYou design it — we manufacture it

Quoted, sampled and produced against your spec. Tech pack, BOM and graded size chart to the letter. Fabric to your spec or supplied by you (CMT accepted). Full exclusivity — your styles are not resold.

ODMWe design it — you brand it

Show us a photo, a fabric or a price point. Development from a photo, sketch or sample garment; 700+ existing blocks make it faster and cheaper than starting from zero. The finished tech pack is handed back to you.

Free mockup service — an Eliian sample garment rendered with a customer's own brand logo before sampling
Before you spend anything Free mockup with your logo

Send your logo and pick a block. We put your branding on the garment and send back a mockup — placement, size, colourway, trims — before a single sample is cut. It costs you nothing and it is the cheapest way to kill a bad idea early.

02 — How we work

Sketch to shipment,
six steps.

First email to loaded container, with realistic timing. No stage is a black box.

01Inquiry & quotation

Inside 24 hours you get fabric options, a craft breakdown and the per-piece price at your quantity. If your target price is not achievable, we say so and propose an alternative.

Day 0–1
02Pattern & sample

Our pattern room drafts the block; photos reach you the day the sample is finished. Revisions unlimited until the fit is signed off; sample cost refunded against bulk.

Day 2–8
03Fabric, lab dips & deposit

Lab dips approved before the full lot is dyed. Trims, labels and packaging run in parallel; bulk starts once the dip and PP sample are both signed off.

Day 9–14
04Cutting, sewing & in-line QC

Cut on the automatic cutter, moved by hanger conveyor, sewn on dedicated lines with roving QC stopping defects at the machine.

Day 15–45
05Inspection & packing

100% end-line inspection, metal detection, AQL 2.5 audit and a photo report before release.

Final week
06Shipment

Labelling, carton marking, freight booking and export documents — or release to your own forwarder.

03 — On the floor

Nine steps,
photographed.

The six commercial stages above are what your calendar sees. This is what actually happens to the garment between them — shot on our own floor, in order, on a normal working day.

01 Design — step 01 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Design

Your sketch, photo or tech pack becomes a working spec in our own design room — construction, panel breakdown, print placement and the size set it will be graded to.

02 Pattern — step 02 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Pattern

The block is drafted and the marker laid in CAD. A tight marker is where fabric cost is won or lost, so this is done before anyone quotes you a price.

03 Cutting — step 03 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Cutting

Automatic spreader and cutter. Every lay is measured against the marker before it moves, because a panel that is 4mm out becomes a fit complaint eight weeks later.

04 Print the logo — step 04 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Print the logo

Heat transfer, sublimation, screen print, digital direct-to-garment or embroidery — all in this building, so a branding change does not add a subcontractor to your timeline.

05 Stitching — step 05 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Stitching

Piece-flow on the hanger conveyor with flatlock and overlock lines. Roving QC stops a defect at the machine rather than finding forty of them at the end.

06 Ironing — step 06 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Ironing

Steam finishing and shape setting. This is the step that decides whether the garment looks like it came from a brand or from a factory.

07 QC inspection — step 07 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
QC inspection

Measured against the approved PP sample, point by point. 100% end-line check, then a final AQL 2.5 audit with a photo report before anything is released.

08 Packaging — step 08 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Packaging

Poly bag, hangtag, care label, barcode or FNSKU, set-packed or single — to your packing list, including Amazon FBA specification.

09 Pack the box — step 09 of custom activewear production at the Eliian factory
Pack the box

Carton marking, loading plan and export documents. We load the container ourselves and photograph it, or release to your forwarder.

On our floor, not subcontracted

05 — The detail sheet

Four decisions
that make it yours.

Fabric, colour, labelling and construction. These are the four conversations every development goes through — the boards below are the actual options, not a category list.

Choose the fabric — custom activewear options at the Eliian factory
Choose the fabric

Eight bases in regular use — Lycra, viscose, flax, polyester, nylon, Tencel, spandex and printed tie-dye — from 180 to 320 gsm. Send a hand-feel or a competitor's garment and we match it; every roll is weight- and stretch-tested on arrival before it is cut.

Choose the colour — custom activewear options at the Eliian factory
Choose the colour

Any Pantone TCX or Color Bridge reference, or a physical swatch. Lab dips come back for written approval before the bulk lot is dyed, which is the step that stops a colour argument after the goods are made.

Choose the labelling — custom activewear options at the Eliian factory
Choose the labelling

Woven neck label, printed care label, heat-transfer tagless print, satin washable label, hang-tag and polybag — each specified separately, each optional. Nothing leaves this building carrying our name.

Choose the construction — custom activewear options at the Eliian factory
Choose the construction

Moulded cups, removable pads, free-cut edges, non-slip zips, invisible elastic, flat buckles, thumb holes, back pockets. Every one of these is a line on the tech pack and a decision you make, not a default we apply.

03 — What you control

Everything on the garment
is your decision.

04 — What moves the price

Why two leggings
quote differently.

We do not publish a price list — a legging is not one product. These are the six things that actually decide your per-piece cost, so you can steer the quote before you ask for it.

01Quantity per colourway

Not total quantity — quantity per colour. Cutting, dyeing and screen setup are paid once per colour, so 1,000 pcs in two colours is meaningfully cheaper per piece than the same 1,000 across eight. If you are testing a range, test with cuts, not colours.

02Fabric and weight

The single biggest line in the cost. Our range runs 180-320, and a squat-proof 280 gsm nylon-spandex is a different product from a 180 gsm brushed poly. Recycled rPET and seamless bases carry their own premium.

03Decoration method

Heat transfer is cheapest per piece and has no setup. Screen print has a setup per colour but the cheapest run rate at volume. Sublimation is priced by coverage. Embroidery is priced by stitch count — a dense 3D puff logo costs several times a flat one.

04Construction

Seam count is labour. Panelled leggings, gussets, drop-in pockets, bonded hems, contrast binding and reflective piping each add operations to the line. A four-panel legging and a fourteen-panel legging are not the same garment.

05Trims and packaging

Woven labels, custom hang-tags, branded or compostable poly-bags, drawcord tips and custom zip pulls are each a sourced component with their own minimum. Generic packaging is included; branded packaging is quoted separately.

06Terms and timing

EXW · FOB Xiamen · CIF · DDP — an EXW price and a DDP price are not comparable. Air freight for a missed deadline can cost more than the garments. Booking your slot early is the cheapest thing you will ever do for your landed cost.

Tell us your target price and we will tell you honestly which of these six has to move to reach it — or that it cannot be reached at your quantity. We would rather lose the quote than win it and cut the fabric.

05 — What to send us

A complete brief
gets a same-day price.

Most quote delays are a missing line, not a busy factory. Send these eight and your price comes back inside 24 hours. Send what you have and we will fill the gaps with recommendations.

01 · The styleAny format

A tech pack, a sketch, a photo, a link, or a sample garment in the post. Any one of these is enough to start.

02 · QuantityPer colour

Per style, per colour, and the size ratio if you have one. Our minimum is 10 pcs per style per colour.

03 · FabricOr we advise

A weight, a hand-feel, or a competitor's garment. "You recommend" is a perfectly good answer.

04 · ColoursPantone TCX

Pantone codes if you have them, physical swatches if you do not. Lab dips come back for approval either way.

05 · BrandingVector preferred

Artwork as AI · PDF · PSD · PNG 300 dpi, plus where each logo sits on the garment and how big it runs.

06 · SizingYour market

Which market you sell into, and your graded chart if you already have one. If not, we grade from our block.

07 · PackingRetail ready

Poly-bag, hang-tag, set-packing, FNSKU for Amazon FBA, or per-store pre-packs.

08 · DestinationAnd the date

Port or door, the incoterm you buy on, and the date the goods have to land.

06 — Common modifications

The changes buyers
actually ask for.

Nine requests come up on almost every development. None of them need a new block — they are pattern and specification changes we make routinely.

You ask forWhat we changeWhat it affects
Higher waistbandRise raised at the pattern, waistband depth and elastic tension re-specifiedPattern only — no cost change
Squat-proofHeavier knit and a tighter gauge, verified on a stretched opacity checkFabric cost up
Add side pocketsPocket bag drafted into the side panel, bartacked at the mouthExtra operations — small labour cost
Longer or shorter inseamGraded at the leg, hem allowance and cuff re-balancedPattern only — fabric yield shifts slightly
Remove the front seamFront panel re-drafted as one piece, gusset re-shaped to suitPattern only
Sustainable versionRecycled rPET base, recycled poly-bags, paper tags, reduced-water dyeingFabric cost up, lead time up if the yarn is booked out
Different market sizingRe-graded to US, EU, UK or AU across XS - 3XLNo cost change — do it before the fit sample
Tagless neckWoven label replaced by a heat-transfer or silicone care printTrim cost down, setup cost once
Match a competitor's feelSend the garment; we deconstruct it and quote the closest base we can knit or sourceAdds a few days to sampling

Every one of these is decided before the fit sample, not after. Changes made once the pattern is signed off and bulk fabric is committed are the expensive kind — which is why we ask for the full brief up front.

07 — Standing terms

Our commercial terms.

The terms we quote by default. Large repeat programs get better pricing and priority scheduling.

08 — Questions

OEM & ODM FAQ

What new buyers ask before their first development order.

What is your minimum order quantity for custom activewear?
The MOQ is 10 pieces per style per colour. A three-colour legging program therefore starts at 30 pieces in total, which is low enough to test a style before committing to a season.
What is the difference between your OEM and ODM service?
OEM means you send the design: we make it from your tech pack, patterns and artwork. ODM means you start from our existing blocks and we adapt fabric, fit, colour and branding to your brand. Most new brands start with ODM because it is faster and cheaper to develop, then move to OEM once the range is proven.
How long does sampling and bulk production take?
Samples take 5-7 working days from confirmed specification and artwork. Bulk production takes 25-35 days from written approval of the pre-production sample and lab dips. Peak season can add 5-7 days.
I don't have a tech pack. Can you still quote?
Yes — that is exactly what ODM is for. Send a photo of the style, the fabric feel you want and your target retail price; our team proposes a construction, selects fabrics and quotes. The finished tech pack belongs to you.
Do you charge for samples?
A development fee covers the pattern, the fabric and the sample tailor's time. It is refunded against your bulk order, so going ahead makes the sample effectively free.
Can I supply my own fabric?
Yes, CMT is accepted. Ship the fabric to Xiamen; we inspect it on arrival, report any roll faults before cutting, and quote the making charge only.
Will my design be sold to someone else?
No. Patterns developed for you are held under your account and are never produced for another customer. We sign an NDA before development on request.
Can you ship to Amazon FBA?
Yes — FNSKU labels, Amazon poly-bag and carton requirements, shipped direct to FBA or to your 3PL. Send the shipment plan and we handle the rest.
What if the bulk doesn't match the sample?
The approved pre-production sample is the reference for the whole run, and a sealed copy stays on our floor. Deviations are re-made at our cost.
At what quantity does the unit price drop?
Price falls sharply from around 300 pieces per colour, and again on repeat programs where the pattern and screens already exist. Ask for a tiered quote and we will price your MOQ, 300 and 1,000 pieces side by side.
Can you put my own brand labels, hang-tags and packaging on the garments?
Yes. Private label is standard: custom woven neck labels, care labels, heat-transfer labels, hang-tags, poly bags, boxes and branded tape. We can also drop-ship packed and labelled cartons directly to your 3PL.
What artwork formats do you need?
AI, PDF, PSD or PNG at 300 dpi. We redraw low-resolution logos free of charge and send a digital mock-up for approval before anything is printed or embroidered.
What are your payment terms?
For direct orders, 30% deposit by T/T with the balance before shipment. For a first order you can instead use Alibaba Trade Assurance, where funds are released only after you confirm quality and delivery.
